Highlight of my day...An elderly gentleman needed help at work today and the person that was originally going to help him is usually cold in nature. I saw something in his face that looked like he needed someone that would be kind and patient with him so I stepped in and offered to take over. Once I was through helping him, he told me I had a sweet personality and he truly appreciated my kindness and that I made his day. Glad to know life hasn't calloused me too much and the sweetness in me is still innate : ) Mr. elderly gentleman, made my day! God Bless You!

Balancing Beams

The inspiration behind balancing beams is how I look at life. Everything you go through in life can be related back to a balance beam...learning how to walk on a straight path without falling. From a faith stand point...I can picture myself when I was a little girl trying to walk on the balance beam with God holding my hand as I walked across. He was my Support and Strength. I felt Safe and Confident that I would make it across. Then through the years I somehow decided to let go of his hand and try it on my own. I fell and tried again many times throughout the years with many bumps, bruises, and scars to prove it. I tried to take control and do it on my own. So, here I am, many years after being able to see that little girl's face with a child-like faith...I'm reverting to what I should have done a long time ago. I'm reaching out to God's comforting hand and letting him walk me across the beams of him all the control as I should have been doing all along...
